A section of youthful NASA leaders along with radical seasoned politicians are pushing for Raila Odinga’s swearing-in scheduled on December 12th.

As protest to controversial victory of President Uhuru Kenyatta, Odinga has increasingly come under pressure from among his staunch supporters and youthful leaders within NASA coalition.

“I will be sworn-in as People’s President on December 12th when we hold our People’s Assemblies,” Doing told a charged crowd in Nairobi.

With seasoned politicians said to be opposing the move on grounds that Odinga may put into test his international good reputation, the youthful leaders are however optimistic that they will go on with the plans.

Already, United States, Britain and Israel have backed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory, a move that has not gone down well with NASA.

“We are in that process and when that day comes, we shall swear him as our president,” Suna East MP Junet Mohammed said.

Also pushing the agenda are Babu Owino, Simba Arati, Steve Mbogo, Opiyo Wandayi, Johnstone Muthama, James Orengo, Otiende Amollo, Edwin Sifuna and Gladys Wanga.

Others include Chris Wamalwa, Millie Odhiambo, Mishi Mboko, Aisha Jumwa, Antony Oluoch, Miguna Miguna and Wavinya Ndeti.
