The palatial home, whose value has not been disclosed, is among the areas that the opposition will use to protect National Super Alliance (NASA) torchbearers voters in the upcoming general elections.
The source also revealed that the home of the senator has already been converted into offices to ensure that everything is set for the vote counting when that time comes.
The residence has high tech firewall that has the capability to protect electronic equipment which are said to have been not only installed but also tested to ensure that they are in good condition.
The computers at the senator’s home will be interlinked with those in Germany as well as Tanzania when that time comes.
The new development comes at a time when leaders aligned to NASA have threatened to boycott the forthcoming general election because of the potential elections malpractices that are likely to hand over power to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
The two leaders have, however, rubbished the claims terming them as baseless and driven by ill motives.
