Former Bomet governor Isaac Rutto may after all rejoin Jubilee to establish his political career, says political analyst Gideon Mamboleo.
Rutto, who lost to Joyce Laboso, conceded defeat and pledged to work with his predecessor who was sponsored by Jubilee.
And to reenergize his political career, Mamboleo says the former county boss should now work with a Rift Valley friendly party t prospers.
“It will be hard for him to stay in opposition at a time when William Ruto wants to go for presidency. This is quite ordinary and we must appreciate it.
“For him to bounce back, he must now work with the DP and give Laboso another challenge. The dynamics of Rift Valley may not allow him to work with opposition,” he adds.
And in August, Rutto worked closely with opposition leader Raila Odinga and helped him to penetrate in the populous Rift Valley.
But in the ongoing petition challenging reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta, Rutto has taken a low profile, move that has kept his supporters guessing.
