Former Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto may after all ditch NASA for Jubilee for the sake of his political future, says lawyer Moseti Moseti.

Throughout the Supreme Court hearing and subsequent nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s reelection, Rutto went missing from the scene.

Against all odds, Rutto supported opposition leader Raila Odinga, a move that could have led to his defeat by Joyce Laboso, a former MP for Sotik.

“I think for his political future, he may have no otherwise other than supporting Jubilee. That is the only way he can revive his political career,” he says.

Moseti adds:”William Ruto remains the undisputed Rift Valley king and that will run for many years. If you opposite him, you will be rendered politically irrelevant.”

During the handing over ceremony in Bomet stadium, a jovial Rutto acknowledged Uhuru Kenyatta as president even with a Supreme Court challenge by his boss.

However, the former Chepalungu MP may make his intentions known in few days time to ease suspense from among opposition supporters.
