Sabatia Member of Parliament, Alfred Agoi, has on Saturday afternoon revealed that western region NASA supporters will be meeting in a while to chose a leader after ODM left them.
Speaking from Kakamega golf club where the meeting was scheduled to take place, the Sabatia lawmaker stated that NASA is set to work without ODM.
He said that ODM seemed to have left the coalition when its leader, Raila Odinga, joined the government.
"Right now we are seeing a situation where ODM seems to have left NASA family, we still have FORD-Kenya, we have ANC, we have Wiper, and all those principals are going to sit together so that they can continue spearheading the reform agenda," Mr. Alfred said.
The legislator promised that the three NASA cooprincipals will continue spearheading the reform agenda for this country.
He said that NASA is not dead as claimed but the coalition is still intact and will remain the country's opposition to push for the core agenda as NASA family.
"When you come to work together it does not mean the opposition is dead, NASA will remain an opposition party to oversee government of the day as our duty.
We will remain together as NASA coalition" Mr. Agoi stated.
He continued to promise that they will choose their leader during the meeting that will lead the coalition in the pursuit of NASA's reform agenda which include electoral reforms among others.
"We as NASA family we continue pushing our agenda and we will have a meeting we will have another leader among the three to lead the NASA coalition so that we have our reform agenda on track,'' the MP said.
