[Photo|@Taifa_Leo]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) is yet to file a petition, disputing the just concluded presidential election.Judiciary Chief Registrar, Anne Amadi, has indicated that no presidential petition had been filed, at the Registrar's office, as at 2 pm Thursday August 17.Nasa through presidential candidate Raila Odinga, said it would move to the Supreme Court, to contest re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta, after the IEBC declared him winner, Friday last week (August 11).According to Nasa, the election transmission exercise was tempered, to subvert the process, in favour of President Uhuru."We are yet to receive any petition," disclosed Amadi.

Amadi said her office would remain open until Friday August 18, midnight, marking the 7-day ultimatum, which is the Constitutional deadline, for any aggrieved party to file the presidential election petition, from the day of declaration of the results.Speaking at the Supreme Court, Thursday, the Judiciary Chief Registrar indicated Nasa would be required to pay a total of Sh500,000, to facilitate the documentation process of the petition.Amadi further assured that the Judiciary would keenly look into the case, and provide an impartial ruling, basing on the evidence provided, a process that will be aired live on local television stations, for public consumption.

If not end of Thursday, Nasa would likely file the petition on Friday, as reports indicated that the legal team was still putting together all the necessary documentation..
