Opposition NASA will be holding a series of rallies in the coming weeks which will be attended by at least one principal in Bomet, James Orengo has said.
The decision was arrived at as a measure to tame Jubilee wave in the South Rift where Bomet governor Isaac Rutto comes from.
Rutto is facing stiff competition from National Assembly deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso of Jubilee with a strong backing of DP William Rutto.
“We shall ensure that rallies take place in South Rift repeatedly so that we take our opponents. We must ensure governor Rutto makes it back,” he said.
“We are going to see a number of activities in that region. People are moving to NASA and that is the way to go. The team shall camp there,” he added.
On Wednesday, the team will pitch tent at Ndanai, barely a week after holding a mega rally in Bomet town.
