Multiple sources within the National Super Alliance indicate that opposition leader Raila Odinga is preparing for another Supreme Court duel with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

On Friday, electoral body IEBC declared President Kenyatta the winner of Tuesday’s polls, a move that has not gone down well with NASA.

Despite NASA’s chief agent James Orengo dismissing probability of filing a petition in court, some sources say that the team is keen to catch Jubilee team unaware.

“There is a room of seven days to do so and right now they are serious collecting evidence of rigging and they do not want to disclose but believe me it will be a court battle,” says a source who spoke in confidence.

Another source says: “The constitution is clear and you know that we have disputed the elections. So let Kenyans expect NASA to follow the constitution.”

But in his address on Saturday, Orengo urged NASA supporters to be calm and wait for a crucial announcement.

“We have been to courts before and we do not want to go there. There are many ways of handling this dispute,” he added.
