National Super Alliance (NASA) Leader Raila Amolo Odinga has said that he outwitted President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto by making them believe that he was considering mass action following the announcement of the results.

Speaking in his backyard, Raila said that he caught Uhuru unaware when he opted to seek for different ways of lodging his complainants.

“All along, we made them believe we would opt for mass action instead of going to court, before pulling a surprise on them,” said Raila, as quoted by Tuko.co.ke.

The leader of the opposition also said that the results of the Presidential election were transmitted from unexpected places including supermarkets.

“All along, Jubilee knew we were ill-prepared for the polls. Our tracking system showed some of the results used to declare Uhuru the President was actually being transmitted from inside certain supermarkets,” he added.

Raila also said that he is not ready to take part in an election exercise if he is not assured of fairness of the exercise. On their part, Jubilee leaders have faulted Raila for holding the nation hostage.
