It has been revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta will use a Bible that his late father Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, used when he was being sworn in as Kenya's founding president in 1964.

It is said that Uhuru will place his hand on the same Bible during his second swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday, November 28. Uhuru's swearing-in comes after he was declared a winner in the October 26 fresh presidential election.

During his 1st inauguration in 2013, Kenyatta used a Bible that his father used to be sworn-in as prime minister in 1963.

On his part, Uhuru's deputy William Ruto, will take the oath of office using a Bible that late Kenyatta used in1963.To sign their swearing-in certificates, Citizen Digital said the duo will later use a table which former President Mwai Kibaki, used during the promulgation of Kenya's 2010 Constitution.

The oath is supposed to take place not before 10 am and not later than 2 pm according to Judiciary Registrar Anne Amadi.
