A few Cabinet Secretaries could survive President Uhuru Kenyatta's wrath due to their exemplary performance in the last five years, reveals Jubilee Vice Chair David Murathe.

With Uhuru keen to cement his legacy, Murathe says under performing Cabinet Secretaries shall be shown exit.

"There are those who shall survive while some who under-performed shall exit. He wants to cement his legacy," he told reporters.

Currently, a lot of lobbying is going on behind the scenes with at least 12 politicians expected to be in the cabinet.

But a top Jubilee lawyer who spoke in confidence due to sensitivity of the matter said a number of CSs shall be retained by the president.

"We are not going to have many surprises because a number of Cabinet Secretaries shall be retained," he said.

Those projected to survive include Fred Matiang'i, Amina Mohammed, Mwangi Kiunjuri, Cecily Kariuki, Najib Balala, Henry Rotich and Charles Keter.
