Anti – IEBC protestors in Migori have vowed to use mashed pepper to repulse excesses by the police force as demonstrations locks the country for the third week.

For the last two weeks, police have been engaging NASA supporters in running battles across the country over reforms in the IEBC.

And in Migori, a section of youths led by James Odongo says they will use pepper and water to handle police in Monday’s demonstrations.

“We have tried to behave in a much respectable manner but the police are taking this too far,” he said, adding that police were shooting and dispersing innocent demonstrators without reason.

He added:” We shall use pepper as our teargas because revolution must continue. We cannot allow the state to infringe our rights.”

A 75 – year’s old granny was on Friday shot by the police a move that has even angered locals.

The government through the ministry of Interior and Coordination has since banned demonstrations within Central Business Districts of Kisumu, Nairobi and Mombasa.
