Reliable reports have indicated that The National Super Alliance is in the final stages of making public their resolution on who will be the flagbearer in the August polls.

A team of 12 highly experienced technocrats has been roped in to help identify the right candidate who can challenge President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to the Standard, the team will make the big announcement by February 2017.

“This is a team of 12 highly respected technocrats in various fields, a majority of them not politicians. They are tasked with working on structures of NASA as a coalition and modalities of a politically cost-effective method of nominating the NASA presidential candidate,” the paper quotes a source.

Raila, Kalonzo, Wetangula, and Mudavadi are the key NASA leaders, who have declared their interest in the position.
