Gor Mahia took on bitter rivals AFC Leopards on Sunday at the Afraha Stadium, in the Super Cup match.

The match attracted a relatively small crowd, with only 3267 fans attending the match. 

Among these, 269 fans were in the VIP section, with a total of 2998 fans sitting in the famous terraces. 

With the VIP tickets going for Sh500, the collecting company Timam collected a total of Sh134, 500.The terraces collected a total of Sh899, 400, bringing the total to Sh1,033,990 collected on match day. 

The cash was then used for various purposes, with Sh155,055 used to settle the days’ expenditure. 

The Match Day Announcer received Sh1500, with the Ball Boys going home with Sh5000, Sh6,000 was paid for the Public Address system, while the police got Sh36,750 for security provision.

The Stadium Management received 55,000, bringing the matchday expenditure to Ksh 259,305.The two teams; AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia would then share Sh774,595.The company had printed 8,500 tickets for the match, with 1,500 of those being VIP tickets.
