It is just a day before President Uhuru Kenyatta launches one of Jubilee administration flagship project, The Standard Guage Railway (SGR).
According to earlier information by State House Spokesman Manoah Esipisu president Uhuru Kenyatta will officiate the launch on May 30, and later embark on the first train ride the following day.
“We do expect that the President will officiate at events of the container terminal on May 30 before embarking on a train ride the following day,” he said.
After much publicity on the modern train, it is now official who will be the first Kenyans to enjoy a ride on the SGR.
President Uhuru kenyatta will be joined by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, diplomats and 47 pupils representing all the counties in the maiden SGR train ride from Mombasa to Nairobi.
