Presidential aspirant Philip Murgor has said the major problems facing Kenya are tribalism and corruption.
Speaking during an interview on Radio Maisha on Monday, Murgor said the two vices were inseparable since tribalism was being used to defend corruption and vice versa.
"The major problems facing Kenya are tribalism and corruption. This is because tribalism is being used to defend corruption and vice versa," said the United Democratic Movement (UDM) presidential aspirant.
Murgor, however, said the two wrongs could only be cleared through the Office of the President.
According to Murgor, President Uhuru has the powers to end graft and tribalism by incorporating various relevant institutions to fight the two vices.
"The only office that can help stop the two vices is the President's office. This can be made possible by also incorporating various relevant institutions of fighting corruption and tribalism," added Murgor.
