President Uhuru Kenyatta has unleashed six tactics to silence opposition leader Raila Odinga, who he considers as a threat, reports the Sunday Nation.
Last week, Raila took oath as people's president, a move that has not gone well with Uhuru's administration.
Multiple sources within the Interior Ministry confirms that police will suspend travelling passports to at least 10 NASA politicians whom they will monitor their movements.
Also, to netralise the opposition, police have initiated crackdown on perceived top operatives within NASA coalition. Until now, TJ Kajwang, George Aladwa and Miguna Miguna have since been operated.
The arrests targets top opposition leaders who administered purported swearing-in at the historical Uhuru Park grounds.
Further, the state is keen to revoke firearm licenses for NASA leaders, with Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati being a victim already.
Also, media shutdown is a strategy to supposedly keep the country safe from polarisation of the nation through giving NASA intensified activities a total blackout.
To further curtail information flow, the paper reports, Uhuru's administration is keen to shutdown internet, a platform which opposition has been using to break news.
The state will also monitor bank accounts for top opposition leaders to prevent suspected funding from outsiders.
