Following a landmark ruling by Supreme Court that nullified reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta, Petitioner, and Raila Odinga is set to hold his first rally in the city.

Elections were not held in the manner that meets constitution threshold and various elections laws of the country, the court ruled.

And after a day of staying indoors and examining the ruling, Odinga is set to hold a major rally at Masinde Muliro grounds in Mathare constituency that is represented by lawyer Antony Oluoch.

At the heart of Uhuru’s declaration as President-Elect, Mathare was worst hit by post election violence that led to unspecified number of people.

The rally will mark a series of political activities that the country will witness in the next two months when people go to polling station to cast their votes.

Should we not have an outright winner in election that are due November, the country will yet again have another 30 days of intensive campaigns.
