Deputy President William Ruto has asked the former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka to forgive him following the 2017 'dirty' campaigns.
Speaking during the National Prayers breakfast in Nairobi on Thursday, Ruto said he looks forward to working with Kalonzo among other leaders.
“I want to say to my brother Kalonzo Musyoka, for all the things I said or did, I want to ask forgiveness. I tender my apology,” Ruto said.
Kalonzo, on his part, welcomed the apology.
The Wiper leader said Ruto is a 'hustler' number one.
“My brother William, you are a hustler number one, I forgive you,” added Kalonzo.
The event was also attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga.
The leaders hugged at the prayers meeting and promised to work together to transform the country.
