He said he saw the ruling coming and that he was not surprised after the Eldoret High Court nullified his August 8, 2017 win following an election petition.

Keter said he was being fought by top government bosses after he came out to fight corruption, hence the nullification.

“I am not shocked at all at the outcome, I expected this because I know I am in a big fight and I am being fought from the top. I have since discovered serious embezzlement of public funds," said the embattled Jubilee party lawmaker.

Keter who addressed supporters in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, said he would not be cowed but would continue with his anti-graft crusade.

"Money meant for the elderly, people with disabilities, IDPs being embezzled and I am being fought for trying to fight this menace,” noted Keter, adding that he was ready for a by-election.

"I am not a coward! I am ready for an election even today."

During his ruling, Justice Kanyi Kimondo also directed the DPP to investigate Keter for voter bribery and campaigning outside stipulated time.
