ODM leader Raila Odinga says he will ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto receives retirement package should they lose to him in General elections.
Regarded as a rematch of 2013 elections, the two political protagonists are set to face each other for the second time in less than five years.
And at Masimba on Tuesday, Odinga said only the law shall be followed to ensure justice is done to atrocities committed in the country including corruption.
“Now that I know they are going home, I will only ensure they have their retirement package because that is the principle of politics.
“Any corruption committed in their regime, the law shall be followed and those behind will be prosecuted in line with that law,” said Odinga.
Should the veteran leader win, he is set to serve as a transitional president after which he will handover to other NASA leaders according to their binding agreement.
In most of their rallies, Jubilee leaders have maintained that they will ensure Odinga also receives retirement package should they beat him.
