[Photo|PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta chaired a Cabinet meeting, Thursday, where they discussed emerging issues in the country.The Cabinet approved a Supplementary Budget that will be forwarded to the National Assembly on Tuesday next week, to set aside resources to conduct fresh presidential election, October 26.Addressing the nation after Supreme Court issued full judgement as to why Kenyatta's August 8 election was nullified, Uhuru said the IEBC, must, without any further delay, undertake the fresh election. "Kenyans expect nothing more and nothing less from them."Uhuru lamented that the judgment created uncertainties and raised matters that require legislative attention.To handle this, he confirmed requesting the Parliament to expeditiously address itself to the issues raised in order to protect "our country from any ambiguities and or that may arise from this judgment."
