The presidential petition filed by opposition leader Raila Odinga will take 14 days in Supreme Court for Kenyans to know determinations.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is yet again fighting a court battle after he was declared President-Elect by the electoral body IEBC.
And the seven Supreme Court judges will have one week to listen to the submissions and Reponses by all parties and another one week to make a determination.
Both parties are looking unto the seven judges for determination that could save them from an election embarrassment.
Should the court annul Uhuru’s victory, Kenyans will have two months to go to elections which will only feature Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta.
In the recently declared results, Uhuru won by a 54 percent to Odinga’s 44 percent, which he has since disputed in the petition.
Five years ago, Odinga filed a similar petition which he lost following a unanimous ruling that Uhuru won fairly in 2013 elections.
