On Tuesday, Google released an update on the most trending searches in Kenya following the opening of election polls.
The Google Search Trends tool provides information on search behaviors over a time period.
According to their reports, incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta trails Raila Odinga with 40 per cent with the opposition leader leading with 60 per cent.
This differs from the current status of the presidential election which sees Jubilee candidate Uhuru Kenyatta in the lead with 54 per cent with Raila Odinga trailing at 44 per cent as of 9 am.
This is representative of only 70 per cent of the national tally as reported by NTV news.
