According to North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko, leaders from the community are selfish only interested in seeking fame in the country.

"Let us not waste time telling our people that leaders from Gusii community will unite and speak in one voice.

"Some of the leaders from the community thinks that they are right and are often championing for their rights ignoring poor residents in the villages," he said.

He said a section of youthful leaders like South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro should not be trusted because they are only after fame.

"It is difficult for Gusii leaders to form one party ahead of the 2022 elections because some of the politicians we have can't be guided on what they should do.

"Every leader should fight hard to retain his or her seat in 2022 since the electorates will not have favorism in 2022," he added.

The Jubilee lawmaker said Gusii leaders will only be united if the current leaders agrees to drop party politics and focus in serving the community as one people.
