Electoral body IEBC may after all postpone elections even without pressure from the opposition team led by Raila Odinga, reports the Sunday Nation.
For weeks now after the Supreme Court ruling, Chairman Wafula Chebukati maintains that the elections will be held on the October 17th.
The date has however been disputed by NASA, which is calling for total overhaul in the commission failure to which they ensure no elections take over.
But the prayer by French IT Company Morpho, which now wants more time to secure its systems, could force the commission to postpone the elections to a later date.
Incidentally, NASA has continued to push for prosecution of top officials from the company for allegedly aiding Jubilee team to hack its systems.
Among other demands that the opposition wants met by the commission if removal of CEO Ezra Chiloba and a host of Returning Officers.
Should the IEBC push the elections, then they are likely to confine them within the constitutional ultimatum of 60 days for a fresh election.
