Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka is said to be in Germany to attend to his ailing wife, Pauline Musyoka.
For over two years now, Pauline, who was last admitted in Nairobi Hospital, has been in undergoing treatment outside the country from unknown ailment.
"I am attending a family matter in Germany and I urge all Kenyans of goodwill to boycott October elections," he said on phone from Berlin during NASA's Monday tour, without giving more details
A banker by profession, Pauline has been working with Central Bank and she is said to be in a medical leave.
It is not the first time Kalonzo has flown out of the country to attend to the mother of four and has kept his current struggles a top secret.
"It is true that she is sick but is now on recovery. All will be well and perhaps he will join us soon,' said a source privy to NASA campaigns.
NASA has continued with its anti - IEBC rallies across the country and on Tuesday, the team will be in Kalonzo's Machakos backyard.
