Political commentator Barrack Muluka has disclosed the reason behind Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i's dismissal from the University of Nairobi (UoN).
He said Matiang'i is not fit to hold the Ministry of Education docket since his integrity is questionable.
“If we talk about integrity, Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi should not be heading education in this country. He was dismissed from the University of Nairobi because of incompetence, because of failing to supervise a master’s student, because of absconding from duty,” said Muluka.
“Therefore when it comes to integrity within education, it is being headed by the wrong people and the facts are there and Cabinet secretary Matiangi knows that this is the truth,” he added.
Speaking during a television interview, Monday, Muluka wondered why Kenya National and Examination Council (Knec) was selective in investigating examination papers of particular individuals.
“Le all of us who claim to have university degrees be interrogated.”
