In a Facebook post, the vocal MP noted that he visited the former Prime Minister to discuss on how to build a better Kenya.

"This morning I paid a courtesy call on Rt Hon Raila Odinga. We explored various options towards building a more cohesive and inclusive nation," Kuria posted.

This was Kuria's first meeting with Odinga after the opposition chief signed a unity pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Odinga also met other legislators where they deliberated on the country's unity.

"As we continue taking the steps towards reconciliation, I have this morning held several meetings with different MPs," Odinga posted on his Twitter handle on Monday.
