Former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama has said that he is not ready to drum up support for National Super Alliance (NASA) because he is sure the election will not be free and fair.

According to Kenyans.co.ke, the vocal politician said that it does not make sense to campaign when he knows very well leaders of the opposition will not take part in the October 26th exercise.

This is after the  Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) failed to meet the requests of NASA Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga, who is taking a fourth stab at the nation’s top seat.

"There is no point in participating in a poll whose outcome is predetermined," Muthama stated. His remarks were backed by Governor Oparanya, Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi and Alego Usonga MP Sam Atandi .

On his part, Atandi said that the endless trips the ruling party has been making around the country is a clear indicator that NASA won the elections.

"The many trips Uhuru and Ruto have been making around the country shows they did not win in August," MP Atandi claimed.  The remarks of the leaders come at a time when NASA Leader Raila has left the nation amid speculations that he will not be back ahead of the fresh election.
