[Photo|Musalia Mudavadi]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) was today (Saturday), scheduled for its official campaign launch. The Opposition coalition, led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga, his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka, and co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, would preside over the launch, at the historic Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County.During a presser, Friday, Musyoka said, they would launch a campaign trail like no other, with aim to ensure that this time round, the presidential win is theirs."Tomorrow (Saturday) we are launching our campaigns in Kakamega. Our campaign will be like no other, and we will go to every corner to ensure we get votes," said the Wiper Democratic Movement Kenya leader, while in Nairobi. However, this did not happen. The campaign launch was postponed, with Raila taking his election campaign to his Bondo home, in Siaya County.Sources said Raila Nasa postponed the campaign launch, after some of the coalition's governors, failed to present to the Okoa Kenya Offices, a list of members of their campaign teams, in their respective counties, on time. The coalition is said to be receiving the lists, before the campaigns are launched, maybe on November 7.Several other Nasa leaders at both County and National levels were expected to attend the launch, including governors, senators, MPs, and MCAs.On June 4, the alliance launched its August 8 general election campaign at the same venue, with the stadium filling to the brim. Operations in the town came to a standstill.Kakamega is perceived a Nasa stronghold, given that it is the centre of Western Kenya and Nyanza regions.
