Delay by IEBC to submit copies of Form 34A was the main reason why NASA leader Raila Odinga postponed his much anticipated announcement on Tuesday.

Odinga, who is yet to concede defeat after losing to Uhuru Kenyatta, is pushed his address to Wednesday where he is expected to make a major announcement.

“Owing to complexity, urgency and delicate nature of issues the NASA summit is handling, our consultations are ongoing and progressing well,” read a statement from Chief Agent Musalia Mudavadi.

But an insider who spoke in confidence says the team is tallying Form 34A some of which NASA’s Chief Agents are yet to receive.

“We thought that the commission will avail all forms before morning but over 11, 000 forms are yet to be submitted. We wonder how the commission managed to make announcements,” says the insider.

Earlier, a section of social media users had claimed that Musalia Mudavadi had refused to allow Mr Odinga concede defeat despite other principals supporting the move.
