Reliable reports now indicate that a delegation comprising top Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leaders, business allies, and strategists have travelled to Germany to discuss the political situation being witnessed in the country.
Among the group are 45 selected political leaders, governors, party branch officials, and business elites drawn from all 47 counties.
The team is set to meet and discuss a myriad of issues among them the opposition's plan to counter Jubilee grand merger that was unveiled on Saturday.
A source privy to the meeting also indicated that the delegates will try to resolve an amicable way of picking out Cord coalition's flag bearer without dividing it.
Raila is expected to join the team on Friday after attending William ole Ntimama's burial. The Germany meeting will also see Raila meet with political advisers and also explore possible fund-raising money to be used in party campaigns ahead of 2017.
"The leaders will attend a five-day entrepreneurial trip at Darmstadt City in Germany to explore various investment pairing opportunities viable for Kenyans," the source was quoted by the Standard.
Among the delegates include former Kisumu Town West Member of Parliament (MP) Ken Nyagudi who said they will also try and lure Siemens - a leading Mobile telephone company to Kenya.
"We will be exploring possible technology transfer to benefit our people," said Nyagudi.
