The decision by Moses Wetangula to snub Raila Odinga's handshake in NASA summit in Athi River last week may have after all cost the former senate leadership position.

Nineteen (19) senators allied to NASA on Tuesday replaced Wetangula with Siaya senator James Orengo as Senate Minority Leader, a decision which he has rejected.

"I want to tell my friend Wetangula that a man with one cow cannot be in charge of a cattle dip,' tweeted Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina.

Although he repeatedly distanced himself from the ouster, Raila Odinga however did little to save his co-princiapal's boat from sinking.

Renowned blogger Robert Alai claimed that Wetangula had protested Railas handshake in the NASA summit, a reason why the latter was determined to kick him out.

"Wetangula refused to shake hands with Raila in Athi River  and Raila swore not to entertain the snub thus the determination to remove him," he wrote.

Last Friday, Wetangula reportedly refused also to speak with Raila on phone when the NASA leader requested him to accompany him to Kisii.

So determined was Raila's ODM that the party passionately supported the letter tabled by Senate Minority Whip Mutula Kilonzo Jnr.
