Ex-State House comptroller Lawrence Lenayapa's close ties with DP William Ruto may have landed him on trouble following President Uhuru Kenyatta's decision to redeploy him, the Sunday Nation has learnt.
Believed to be Ruto's insider with the State House and in charge of Uhuru's diary, Lenayapa is accused of frustrating Uhuru's ally from accessing the president besides tipping Ruto o who meets the president.
Among those he is accused to have blocked from presidential audience include Joseph Nyaga, who would later resign as an adviser and Tarayia Koros, who later decamped to ODM.
"It was too much. The delegation from around the country denied audience with the president," he told the Sunday Nation in reference to Lenayapa.
Ole Koros said: "We were blocked by him to see the president and by the time Uhuru knew our plight, too much had been destroyed."
In response to outcry from Uhuru's ally, the president recruited Ex-Nakuru Governor Simon Mbugua to 'help' Lenayapa ahead of presidential rerun to curb in State house fighting.
And on Friday, Lenayapa, who is believed not to have been aware of Uhuru's address, turned to be one of the casualties after being dispatched to the Netherlands.
