Lawyer Moseti Moseti claims that President Uhuru Kenyatta may have known the outcome of Supreme Court ruling in which his victory was nullified.
Four out of six judges ruled in favour of opposition leader Raila Odinga thus subjecting the country for other fresh presidential elections.
But the decision by top Jubilee leadership led by Aden Duale to skip court proceedings during the material day communicates a lot according to him.
“Here is Duale and Kipchumba Murokem attending all court proceeding but fails to attend the final day. That alone communicates a lot,” he says.
Moseti adds:”This is an indication that entire Jubilee leadership including Uhuru was aware of the outcome and that is why they never bothered to attend.”
A publication by the Daily Nation claimed that Jubilee leadership had tried to bribe a section of judges to make favourable ruling in vain.
In recent weeks, Uhuru has launched scathing attacks on the Supreme Court judges even going to an extent of threatening to ‘deal’ with them should he be elected in October.
