The officers are visiting businesses and premises located across the six sub-counties to check compliance of business permits and related documents.
"Those found operating their businesses contrary to the set laws and requirements are being urged to do so soonest possible to avoid arrests," a communication from the Sub County Administration said on Friday.
The RRI which is a 90 day activity, is being spearheaded by the County department of Finance and Economic Planning.
The process which started Friday, March 23, includes vigorous inspections of revenue streams to verify tax payments, checking of Public Service Vehicles stickers, car branding among other things to ensure compliance.
Moving forward the teams will also verify single business permits, land rates, market stall rents, advertisements among other streams.
