IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati has written a memo to the Commission CEO demanding answers on poll uncertainties.
The questions seek answers why security feature was missing on some of the Form 34A's and B's as it had been required of IEBC and the printer.
"Respond and explain why the forms didn't have security features," read part of the letter.
Chebukati also wants Chiloba to explain why some of the KIEMS kits were not corresponding with the geographical locations.
"Respond and explain what went wrong with the KIEMS results transmission, where over 10,366 out of 40,883 polling stations sent text results without the accompanying form 34A's. Noting that this polling stations had 4,636, 556 voters registered therein," reads the memo.
Another question regarding answers is why the satellite phones bought by the commission to relay data from the polling stations were not used as it is supposed to be during the polls.
The chairman also wants answers on why his password was allegedly used to access the results transmission system.
Mr Paul Mugo and Mr Boniface Wamae under the instruction from the director of ICT Mr James Muhati availed a memo dated August 31st to the chairman office through your office; which memo confirmed the creation of a username account and a password in the name of IEBC chairperson without my knowledge or consent and subsequently this account was used to undertake over 9,934 transactions. I direct that you take immediate action against these officers and report back by close of business [CoB] today," reads part of the Memo from Chebukati.
The letter is dated September 5th.
