It is no secret that Baringo Senator and Deputy President William Ruto don't see eye to eye on many issues. The two harbor 2022 presidential ambitions and this is expected to plunge them onto the warpath. In an attempt to forestall that prospect, the Rift Valley Council of elders has called on the two leaders to unite.Gilbert Kabage, the chairman of the council, has warned that the differences could cost the Rift Valley region the presidency in 2022.''We are asking them to embrace the unity of purpose and decide on who between them will fly the presidential flag,'' Gilbert said in Nakuru yesterday.
