Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has dismissed claims that his party,Chama Chama Mashinani, has little influence in the Rift Valley.
Ruto has been critical of Jubilee administration and has occasionally differed with Deputy President William Ruto in public.
Last week, the DP pitched tent in South Rift and challenged locals to vote for Jubilee Party's candidates in all positions.
"People are in Mashinani part because they believe in devolution. Those running up and down out of panic should know that and its only seven months to confirm for them," he said.
He added: "Jubilee has done nothing here and they should know that we are not sleeping. People need services ad now that you can't deliver, forget about winning in our region."
The outspoken Governor together with Baringo senator Gideon Moi, have been leading onslaught against Jubilee administration in the vote rich Rift Valley region.
