According to the MP, President Uhuru Kenyatta and veteran opposition leader set an impeccable example by agreeing to work together.

''Look at what the president did. President Uhuru and Raila Odinga have been rivals. Raila has also been sworn in as the people's president but Uhuru didn't think about that, he just thought of the country. He decided that we should seat and think about how the country to move the country forward. It is a challenge to the Deputy President. I wonder if Raila can sit with Uhuru, why can't Ruto sit with Gideon, why can't Ruto sit with his rivals, why can't Ruto sit with Isaac to make the Kalenjin nation great again,'' MP Ng'eno said.

The lawmaker was speaking to a mainstream journalist earlier today in his constituency.

His words come in the wake of mixed reactions to the dramatic Uhuru-Raila meeting at Harambee House last week on Friday.

William Ruto has been locked in a power struggle between himself and Gideon Moi and Isaac Ruto.
