Narok senator Ledama ole Kina on Wednesday said that he fully supports the planned secession exercise because some ethnic communities were acting too superior and felt a sense of entitlement to the presidency at the expense of the others."Yes, let us secede. We've had enough. We also need to have our own country so that one day we can also ascend to the presidency. We cannot be kept under subjugation by two tribes who feel they are entitled to the presidency. I support the plan," he told NTV SideBar show. The ODM senator also claimed that his Narok backyard overwhelmingly voted for Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga but his votes were stolen. The secession agenda which has since attracted 12,000 signatories aims to hit the 12 million mark before it can be forwarded to the Africa Union for discussion. On Tuesday, Nasa head of strategy David Ndii endorsed the separatist plan saying that the country cannnot be held in perpetual dictatorship by two communuties who have been at the helm of leadership since independence and do not seem ready to let go.
