A team from coast based civil society - Haki Africa, visited the Likoni Rehabilitation School over the weekend.
Accompanied by the Amani Mashinani youth who are being introduced to the justice system, the team outlined the organisation's human rights and legal framework efforts put in place to counter violent extremism.
Since the early 60' Likoni Rehabilitation School has been a home to thousands of students from all over Kenya aged between 10 - 17.
During the social activity the team learned how rehabilitation centres in shape children and youth who have been in conflict with law and turning them into better citizens.
Haki Africa team was led by Francis Auma, Esther Ngure Ndung'u and Salome Nduta.
