Mombasa governor hopeful Suleiman Shahbal amplified his campaigns on Tuesday with a series of rallies in Majengo, Kisauni constituency which is regarded as Governor Hassan Joho's turf.

With one cardinal message of change, the Jubilee candidate challenged the youth to “rise up and save Mombasa” from the current administration which he claimed has marginalized them (youth). While asking the youth to overthrow the Joho administration during the August 8 polls, Shahbal said lack of jobs and opportunities in the county is an indication that the current administration has run out of ideas."There are no jobs and opportunities in Mombasa because the county administration is constructed to marginalize the youth and benefit a few rich families. They must overthrow the system on August 8," he said.Shahbal has been a regular visitor in Kisauni over the past few days even as he sustains his onslaught on Joho whom he accuses of being an impediment to development in the county.
