Speaking at Nyabuya primary school on Sunday where he gave a Sh500,000 cheque, few days after giving another Sh1 million to Riakworo secondary and primary schools and another Sh500,000 to Nyamwanga primary, the ODM MP challenged the institutions' top leaders to manage the funds prudently.

He urged parents to consider enrolling more children who are of age to area schools as a way of complying with the constitution.

“I know that we have so many schools in the constituency but I am trying to balance so that we equip and renovate schools which are in need. This project will continue and on Monday I will be at Nyaronge primary school. We want also to see our parents respecting the rights of the children by ensuring they are enrolled to schools to get an education,” he said.

However, Mr Bosire’s continued support to institutions has not gone well with some of his competitors led by Mr Shadrack Mose who accused the legislator of using the project as a campaign tool.

“I want to challenge Kitutu Masaba voters to be keen. We have been having the CDF kitty for a number of years and I wonder why he (Bosire) has to wait till now to pretend that he is concerned with supporting our institutions. He is simply campaigning and I want to promise him of a tough time ahead because we cannot allow someone to hide in CDF as a way of campaigning,” he said during a church function at Mosobeti Catholic church.

Mose's sentiments were backed by Mr Victor Swanya, who also said in Gesima that the MP was playing 'outdated' politics by using CDF money as a campaign tool.
