A man was Tuesday arraigned in court to answer to charges of robbery and causing actual bodily harm.
Frank Opiyo who was present before court was charged with robbery with violence which happened at Ondieki Estate in Kisumu.
The particulars of the offense were that he robbed Denis Ayoma off Sh5,000 and wounded him on March 18, at about 2pm.
Mr Opiyo had earlier appeared in court on Monday but was not able to take plea.
On Monday when he was arraigned before Resident Magistrate Phyllis Shinyada, he pleaded not guilty to the offense.
Ms Shinyada who directed that the accused be released on a cash bond of Sh200,000 with surety of the same amount also ordered that he be supplied with copies of charge sheets and investigation diary.
The call by the accused to also be provided with the statements under inquiry, witness statements and any other evidence documents that prosecution intends to rely upon was also granted.
The case will be mentioned on April 19 and heard on May 13 pending the determination
