Uhuru on Thursday took a swipe at TV political analysts who have been discussing matters to do with politics despite the conclusion of the electioneering period.Speaking in Gichugu, Kirinyaga County, where he launched the Sh19 billion Thiba Dam project, the president said he was fed up with the endless politics in the media noting that politics was dominating media headlines. Uhuru said it was time for the country to move on after a prolonged election period.Alai through his twitter account, however, noted that although he doesn't agree with the analysts appearing on TV every time, that doesn't mean that they should not practice their profession.According to the blogger, Uhuru was wrong in attacking the analysts. Alai noted that what the president could have done was to urge more Kenyans to shun a bit of politics "I don’t agree with, like or appreciate political analysts on TV every time but that’s shouldn’t mean that they shouldn’t ply their trade. President is WRONG. Let them be but we must encourage more Kenyans to switch off a bit from politics," Alai tweeted.
