Orie Rogo Manduli has downed Esther Akoth popularly known for her stage name Akothee for her performance in Wembley, London.
Speaking to eDaily after a photo of Akothee dressed in swimsuit, throwing a kick up in the air visibly showing her crotch, the vocal politician described her as a rogue not fit to be a role model.
“Akothee is rogue. She should draw cultural boundaries, and stop aping the whites,” Ms Manduli continued, “There has never been a career whose title is ‘socialite’. First of all, her dressing on stage was so inappropriate, given she is a mother of five. Akothee has three daughters who, probably, look up to her,”
Ms Manduli said her behaviour risked chasing away good men who may want to asked her good daughters for a hand in marriage.
“Based on her behaviour, Akothee risks chasing away good men who are, probably, pursuing her daughters. No man, in his right senses, would want to marry a lady whose mother parades her body online, and reveals the number of men she has bedded,” said Ms Manduli.
Ms Manduli further warned Akothee from making other people look inferior because of her largely accumulated weath but rather changed her behaviour before it was too late for her to realize.
“She shouldn’t make other people feel inferior, simply because she has more money than them. She must respect the fact that she is African, and is bound by African culture and values. I urge her to change her ways before it is too late," she addd.
Akothee has been critized by several other people including former presidential candidate Nazlin Umar who said Akothee ought to be jailed.
The Mombasa based singer was performing at the One Africa Music Fest held at the SSE Wembley Arena in London on June 2.
