National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale had revealed that National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga played a crucial role in his political life.
Mr Duale who is also the Garissa Township MP said that he was inducted into politics by the opposition leader.
Speaking during the proceedings in Parliament in March, this year, Mr Duale said that Raila is loved and hated in equal measure in the country.
The legislator who said that he respects Raila added that he was grateful that it was Raila who inducted him into politics as he recognized Raila’s role in politics since KANU days.
“I am a happy man because I was inducted into politics by none other than Raila Amollo Odinga. Of course there are people who are scared of Raila Odinga. He is loved and hated in equal measure in our country.”
“He went to KANU and left with the cream of KANU. He said Kibaki tosha and later left in 2009 forcing a coalition government. When Wiper, ANC and Ford Kenya remember his history they cannot sleep at night,” said Mr Duale.
The vocal legislator is a strong defender of the Jubilee administration.
