Rongai MP Raymond Moi addressed water shortage in Visoi Ward by completing two water projects in the region.
The projects Umoja and Bongolea Water Pans were constructed at cost of Sh10M and it has solved acute water shortage in the area.
The legislator observed that water shortage has been a major issue in the Visoi ward and the Pans will be of great assistance.
Moi also officially opened the Naithuiti-Ranjuera Bridge built at a cost of Sh3M by the Kenya Rural Roads Authority.
Farmers in the area will now easily access the market for their farm produce which in the past took them over 20 kilometers to reach the market.
“The Bridge will serve the area which has not been accessible for a long time and called for farmers to use it and boost agricultural activities.” he said
Moi also urged the residents in his constituency to coexist peacefully pointing out that the area was cosmopolitan and all should live in harmony regardless of their ethnic backgrounds.
He added that, that his development record will be judged by the electorate once his term expires.
Moi said so far his track record stands out and called on the constituents to support his development agenda to improve on their welfare.
"I will continue to strive to deliver service to my people and shall not be distracted by those with their own selfish interests," the legislator said.
